Hey,
It’s been a little while since I’ve shown my face and I love chatting with you, so, whilst having my lunch, a chickpea, paneer and cous cous bowl, I decided to jump on and share about some of the topics I was exploring in my journal this morning; rejection-sensitivity, vulnerability and you’ll need to watch to find out about the cheetahs and sloths bit.
If you’re not a fan of a full vid, you can watch a short standout clip (suggested by Substack AI) from the full vid below.
I’d love this to create conversation around this topic, because let’s be real, it’s something the majority of us experience in our uncomfortable, beautiful human experiences.
Maybe, that means you create conversation with yourself in your journal on what these thoughts brought up for you, maybe you join us in the chat and share your own stories of rejection and vulnerability, perhaps you want to share your story privately with me emma@emmaevelyncampbell.com, or maybe you want to explore this topic in a supportive community by joining our free writing workshop on the 12th of February here.
What I intend is is for my experiences not to speak for yours, but to invite contemplation unique to your experiences. Shared conversation if that feels safe and good for you. If not, I see you listening anyway.
See you again soon. 🌼
with love,
Emma
This article is part of my Thursday ‘for Thought' series, where I share thought and support partnership and speak about the different topics I’m currently exploring. With these articles, it’s my intention to open a space for curious, contemplative, and connected communication with one another in a supportive environment. That’s why, at the end of this article, you’ll find an option to join our free subscriber chat and share your questions, thoughts, and feedback from this article with the Uncomfortably, Beautifully Human community. This week we’ll be exploring ways that, we can work with the challenges that arise with rejection and the space that we can find in vulnerability. 💛 You can support the work of this post further, by joining our free Intuitive Writing Workshop for Neurodivergent Minds on the 12th of Feb here.
