Poem: I Just Wanna Be Human
Today's reflections put together in a poem, my intention is for you to connect with whatever feelings these words bring up for you.
I just wanna be human
Without the confusion
I’m the mad hatter
I don’t flatter
I walk to the beat of my own beautiful madness
It’s a sadness
Forgetting the child within
The grin that knew all possibilities
That walked the wave of serendipity
She only knew the moment
She only knew how to be here
But don’t fear
Because when you see clear
You’ll remember it isn’t near
It is here
To steer you through life
I cut myself on the edge of the knife
To come back to what I know is right
Because don’t we also need the opposite to see
Don’t we all need
To feel trapped to know who we are as free
Don’t we need separation to remember unity
It’s not a curse you see
To live as a human being
It’s actually quite freeing
When you embrace all the imperfection
It’s really a regression to being a child
To being wild
To being nature
To being spirit in form
Waking a new dawn
Waking to a new rising sun
To once again play and have fun
It’s not really a conundrum
with love,
Emma

Love these lines! Prasun is on his way back home today after a month of separation and I'm finding so much truth in the necessity of apartness for togetherness to also exist.
The way you fill those emotions in every word of yours is magical ! Whoever will read this, you'll make them think and feel seen ! Thank you for always sharing such amazing poems and messages ❤️
